We had a good experience with Simple Lawns. After getting a few quotes I just felt like they were the most knowledgeable and made me feel confident. The owner is very responsive as well. I appreciated that they also could get the job done for our backyard in 2 days! Insane!

Thank you, Simple Lawns, for making the process so easy. The price quote was fair. You were able to get us on your calendar quickly. Your workers were professional and knowledgeable about both sprinkler systems and putting in new sod. They were also able to create my vision of a dry riverbed even better than I could have imagined. They were polite and friendly, worked hard and every day cleaned up after themselves, sweeping and hosing down the street and driveway. We were so pleased with them that we are now going to use them to complete the landscaping by delivering and planting trees in our new backyard. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a landscape company!
Thank you, Dale and Stephanie

We had Simple Lawns landscape a portion of our backyard and it looks amazing! We had two fairly vague requirements, make it look nice and leave room for a vegetable garden, and they did a truly wonderful job. Both David and Eddie were knowledgeable about what plants and features would look best in our yard, were communicative throughout the process, worked within our budget, and were very thorough. We will be hiring them again to finish the rest of the yard

Simple Lawns, did an awesome job cleaning up and fixing things. The lawn was a mess, but they made it look super neat and tidy. Eduardo and his team also did great with the construction work, making everything look good and solid. What’s cool about Simple Lawns is how they keep you in the loop and sort out any issues quickly. If you need someone for your lawn, Simple Lawns, especially with Eduardo, is a solid pick.

Simple Lawns
When frigid winter air settles into the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, frost penetrates deep into the soil of Portland, West Linn, Lake Oswego, and Happy Valley. As the ground freezes, small amounts of water remaining in your sprinkler system can freeze as well. Expanding ice in pipes and fixtures leads to split pipes and damage to valves and fixtures.
Professional irrigation winterization services evacuate the water from your system so there’s no chance for ice to form and cause damage. Simple Lawns & Landscape Design is a full-service landscaping company prepared to take care of the landscaping needs of residents and business owners in Portland and the surrounding areas. Our winterization services are performed by certified professionals with commercial tools, so you can have the peace of mind of knowing your system will be ready for spring.
Professional irrigation winterization is more than the act of blowing water out of the system with a common air compressor. To properly eliminate all water from your system, our professional landscapers use an industrial air compressor to slowly push all the water from your system. The process is designed to avoid placing excess pressure on your system during the blowout and to completely expel any water that could cause damage during harsh winter weather. Our customers enjoy these benefits when using our irrigation winterization services:
As a property owner, making major changes to your landscape can be a little intimidating. Inviting a group of strangers onto your property can feel like a leap of faith that leaves you in the dark until the project is complete. We want our customers to feel comfortable (and even excited) about the entire process. That’s why we provide frequent communication and keep you informed with as many details as possible. Here’s what you can expect when you contact Simple Lawns to take care of your landscaping project.
1. YOU CONTACT US WITH THE DETAILS OF YOUR PROJECT.
Fill out the form on our website to share some information about your property and the type of work you'd like completed. After reviewing the details on your submitted form, we get back to you within one business day to schedule an appointment, usually about a week out. We'll email you a pre-meeting document, so you'll know what to expect.
2. DESIGN CONSULTATION.
Your landscape designer will meet you at your property, discuss your wishes for the project, take measurements and record detailed notes about your property and project wish list. The designer you meet for the consultation will be your primary point of contact and project manager for the duration of your project.
3. PERSONALIZED DESIGN BID.
Within 24 hours of your on-site consultation, we'll send you a personalized design bid. The average project is around $1,500, depending on the size of your project. Payment for landscape design is due upfront. Upon acceptance of the bid, you'll receive a contract that you can sign online. Once the contract is signed, we get started on your design right away. You receive your initial design within 2-4 weeks. The design is to spec with a booklet of all details including material choices and layout including your drainage, hardscaping, irrigation, and more. One round of revisions is available, if necessary, to perfect your design.
4. LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION BID & AGREEMENT.
Around 1-2 weeks after your design is approved, you'll receive your landscape installation bid & agreement. A 50% deposit is required at this time to secure materials and schedule the crew.
5. WORK BEGINS
After all the paperwork is signed, our maintenance or construction crew begins work on your property. The landscape installation phase typically takes about a month, depending on the time of year. We'll show up daily (weather permitting) to work on your project until completion.
6. IT'S TIME FOR THE BIG REVEAL!
When your project is complete, we'll walk the property together to ensure you're delighted with every detail. Final payment is due at this time.
7. WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORK.
We stand behind our work with a 5-year warranty on hardscapes (installation defects), 1-year warranty on irrigation, and 90 days on plantings that are irrigated. We also offer customized maintenance plans to fit your needs. If you choose a maintenance plan, your planting warranty will be covered for 1 year.
Your irrigation system is an investment that keeps your landscape healthy and attractive. Our team understands how professional maintenance can help you protect your investment and extend the life of your system. Leaving the health of your sprinkler system in the hands of inexperienced landscapers can lead to costly mistakes. Instead, give the experienced, certified technicians at Simple Lawns a call. Our team can take professional care of your irrigation and any other landscaping services you need.
