We are really impressed with Simple Lawns. They were easy to work with, professional, and they delivered. We had a pipe burst in our  Backflow that services our sprinkler system. Simple Lawns was able to repair and replace the piping and they made it look easy. They really know what they’re doing and they are a pleasure to work with.

Simple Lawns recently completed our backyard project and were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We worked with another company in the past for a separate project and attributed some interactions and situations to “industry standard”. (As that is what we had been told.) That being said, we knew going into this project we wanted to work with a different company. Simply put, Simple Lawns far exceeded our expectations.

A truly professional company - From David quoting our job over the  phone on my initial call, to Hector & Crew arriving when scheduled to start work.  At the end of each work day, the Crew would clean the work area, were very nice, and you could tell, genuinely like working at Simple Lawns & Lanscape Design.  Our paver project turned out even better than our high expectations.  We highly recommend this company.

Working with Simple Lawns was an easy experience. They did a great job installing front and back sprinklers with Arborvitae and a drip irrigation system. I’ve had no issues with the system so far and they’ve been friendly and helpful through the whole process.

Our experience working with simple lawns has been great! They were always on time, very responsive and professional. We had some unforeseen issues which were handled with creative solutions. We had pavers placed, turf, river rock and a kids play area with wood chips. We also had some yard  clean up and help with sprinklers. They were skilled in every aspect of the project. My experience with Simple Lawns was better than I expected.  Ethan arrived on time ready to get to work.  He answered all my questions.  Fixed all the sprinkler heads and put up a new control mechanism and showed me how to use it.  Can't say enough good things about him.  I will be calling Simple Lawns for all my irrigation needs.

We just had our front yard landscaped by Simple Lawns LLC. (October 2024) Our house is in SW Portland and our front yard has a steep incline. We first worked with David, who helped choose all the plants for our yard. We are very happy with his choices. Before our yard could be planted, Ignacio and Diego had to clear out most of the existing plants and weeds. Plus they put in an irrigation system with drip lines. They did an amazing job! Igor, our project manager was very attentive when we spoke with him.

Simple lawns has been great. Start to finish they have worked to get things done correctly. Ricardo,Felipe,Ignacio put together my back yard and did a great job! They are still finishing but they have been communicative the whole time!

Many neighbors have stopped by to tell me how beautiful the yard turned out and they love the pathways in the front (which are top notch quality)! The team also did a great job updating my 25-year old irrigation from busted sprinkler lines and heads to efficient new drip irrigation, which has been awesome. Super thrilled with these guys! Mike reached out to me right away after I reported my burst hose pipe via afterhours voicemail, and Ethan was there the next day (ahead of schedule, even) to get the system replaced. He even made sure to install a Y-splitter so that I could still use the spigot for gardening. Very impressed with their level of communication and professionalism. Fingers crossed that hose is the last of my irrigation issues for now, but I'm glad I know who to call next time!

Guys did a fantastic job turning my mud pit of a backyard into a beautiful area where my dogs can play, and I can enjoy the weather outside. Turf looks great and the river rock border is beautiful. Thank you so much guys! Highly recommend!

I am incredibly pleased with the service that was rented to us. The technician came out was so polite, friendly, and just basically amazing. He guided us through what was going to happen, he then showed us how the system would work for us. And then he answered any questions that we had it was so courteous. I strung we recommend This organization for any lawn. Ours was putting in a sprinkler system for our raised garden beds. Also, they kept in contact and made sure everything was taken care of.

Mike has been great to work with, responsive, got everything set up quickly, etc. We also had them design and build new front landscape. Igor led us through the project, great communicator, timely, and we love the new look.  Highly recommended!

Simple Lawns took care of us beyond our expectations. They completed a large paver patio with retaining wall in our backyard w/o issue, within budget, and on time. They addressed any concerns we had right away. We even contacted them a few months later asking about the type of pavers they used so we could match them with a different DIY project we are working on. We had Simple Lawns put in new sod in our front yard, remove very large bushes and start over with new plants. David was so helpful and patient with choosing plants and discussing what we wanted. Eddie was the project manager and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. We had a couple of hiccups but Eddie really made sure the outcome was positive and that we were pleased with everything. He is all about customer service and satisfaction. Balthazar and Hev worked their butts off with demo and replanting, and cleaned everything up so nicely when done. Thank you!!

I started a service to fertilize and control weeds a few months ago. The progress has been really great. I like the option of doing the weekly mowing myself while having simple lawns perform the right treatments at the right time.

Oleg did a great job for us, both in landscape design and managing the project. The project was completed at reasonable cost, within our budget, and in reasonable time. If we have a landscaping need in the future, we will definitely call Simple Lawn.

I couldn’t give a better review for how great of a job Simple Lawns did! Right from the get go, they were extremely communicative and were very accommodating for the work that needed to be done. This was a huge project that started with nothing but a hillside of invasive blackberries. Two large boulder retaining walls, a fire pit area, concrete pads, sod, and then a dog run area - everything turned out amazing. We had a water leak from a very old irrigation system, metal pipes. Ethan from Simple Lawns came out to helped us look for the shut off. Unfortunately we can't find it and the pipes were too old and rusty for repair. What I really appreciate was their honesty. Ethan was very honest about the risk involved with the old rusty pipe and his ability to fix it. Simple Lawn did not charge me with coming out for the assignment. I was very appreciative. Thank you.

David & Igor were so easy to work with! I had them come out for an estimate last Thursday and they were able to do the job this week due to a last minute cancellation. I couldn’t be happier with the result! Real grass wasn’t growing well in my yard due to lack of sunlight. They helped with sloping/grading, and then installed the rocks and artificial turf. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

My wife and I had a lawn removal project done with metal edging, pathways, and top soil added back - and the Simple Lawns crew that did it were AMAZING! Major shout out to Igor, Valente, and Jesus for an excellent job. They worked well through the day and even setting up lights to continue working until the job was done. I have been searching for a while on a landscaping company to fix up the backyard of our new construction home and reached out to 4 different companies. Simple Lawns was the first and only company to reach out to quickly come to provide a quote on sod installation, greenery installation, irrigation, and adding a pathway on the side of our home. David came out and was extremely informative and made us feel comfortable with choosing their services. It took 4 days for our project to be completed and we couldn’t be happier!

They gave me a safe walkway replacing my cinder block stairway, replaced what was left of a 60 year old retaining wall and gave me a dry creek for erosion control with underground drainage.  Augustine and Carlos are fantastic.  The work was beyond expectations.  I was really uneasy with such a big project and now relieved it was in such good hands!

We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project to completely renovate our front and side yard. From our first meeting with Oleg the designer/estimater  to the two days of work by Roberto and Omar and supervision by project manager Eddy, everything went smoothly and you can see the outcome in the attached photos. We had Simple Lawns landscape a portion of our backyard and it looks amazing! We had a good experience with Simple Lawns. After getting a few quotes I just felt like they were the most knowledgeable and made me feel confident. The owner is very responsive as well. I appreciated that they also could get the job done for our backyard in 2 days! Insane!
